About Green Christian: Since it was founded in 1981 Green Christian (formerly Christian Ecology Link) has been at the cutting edge of the environmental movement for over 40 years.  Working with people of all faiths and none to care for creation and inspire others to do the same, Green Christian runs an ever-evolving series of courses, activities and projects and develops digital and printed materials to galvanise and guide. The climate change charity Operation Noah was founded by Green Christian in 2004 and a range of other initiatives such as “Joy in Enough” joyinenough.org and “Borrowed Time” borrowedtime.earth have followed.

Green Christian also continues to support and work with a number of different charities and coalitions. Its patrons are Shilpita Matthews, Prof Sir Ghillean Prance, Jonathon Porritt, Dr Elaine Storkey, Fr Sean McDonagh and the Rt Revd James Jones. Supporters are invited to join its community of ordinary Christians in praying and taking action for the protection of the natural world, see www.greenchristian.org.uk
