No Detriment Policy

Middlesex University and Durham University – our two degree-awarding bodies – have both committed to a “no detriment policy“ for all assignments affected by Covid-19. In brief, this policy means that a student’s overall grade and the eventual classification of their award can only be positively affected by assessment completed during this period – it can raise your grade, but not lower it. This will be the case for all students completing their studies this summer. A similar process will be followed in the subsequent academic year.
