"All volunteer workers get free accommodation and full board

Guest team

Depending on the week the students will be here, this might include teaching biblical lessons to children and young people, sharing your faith and testimony, be ready and willing to lead others to Christ and/or discuss spiritual matters and overall create and provide a safe and encouraging atmosphere. Your students will be able to experience long days with early starts and late finishes which might prepare them for future services within church or mission.

Hospitality

Students will be to help keep the Hall clean and tidy for our guests, to change beds, prepare bedrooms and clean bathrooms. They will also assist our catering team in preparing and serving meals, setting and clearing tables, washing up, and keeping the dining hall and kitchen areas clean. They may also be asked to serve in the Beehive, our on-site coffee shop.

Audio Visual

Our Audio Visual voluntary workers assist the IT team at Capernwray Hall to provide audio/visual requirements for teaching sessions, worship and activities during our Holiday Weeks. Students would operate the sound studio for morning and evening meetings, including the use of the sound desk, projectors and recording equipment. They would provide music requirements for activities such as games nights, onsite ‘carnivals’ and outside concerts, as well as providing projection of films and other clips as required by the Holiday Team. Students will liaise with the Holiday Team to provide a smooth running of activities and events for the Guests attending the Holiday Weeks.
