Moodle Design Update

Dear Students,

We are pleased to inform you about upcoming updates to the Moodle design. While these changes include a refreshed interface, they also introduce significant improvements in accessibility and user experience.

These updates will be implemented over the next couple of weeks, and we trust they will enhance your overall interaction with Moodle. Please note that the changes are primarily cosmetic and will not affect how you normally use or navigate Moodle.  You will know the updates have been done because the main colours of the dashboard will be blue and yellow which are consistent with the St Mellitus College website.

Key highlights include:

·                     A more welcoming and user-friendly homepage, with clearer links to familiar areas such as Key Links and Modules.

·                     The addition of UserWay – an innovative accessibility tool that supports students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and visual impairments . This feature allows you to adjust text size, colour contrast, and fonts, making content easier to read and more comfortable to navigate.

If you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to contact the academic coordinator @ narges.bagherabadi@stmellitus.ac.uk.

Regards,

Narges
